PERMANENT BROWS

Permanent eyebrows — also known as eyebrow microblading, microstroking, 3D permanent brows or dermal cosmetics — are a form of cosmetic tattooing. Permanent cosmetic application uses tiny needles and various techniques to implant pigments into the skin for a more defined shape. Since the pigment is implanted into the skin, it is considered permanent, and yes, it is a tattoo. However, the pigments do fade over a period of 1-3 years, depending on skin health and lifestyle.

Permanent cosmetics are not necessarily intended to replace makeup completely. When you want to kick up your heels and go out for a night on the town, or simply want a different look, you can apply as much additional makeup as you wish. Permanent cosmetics can provide a great alternative to those who suffer from hair loss, alopecia, over-tweezing or thinning eyebrows.  It is also a great alternative for the busy professional or athlete who needs to look her best all the time.

Be a savvy consumer — training, photographs of work and testimonials are important when choosing an artist. Our Custom Beaute artists have all been certified by an SPCP Trainer in permanent makeup fundamentals and have taken advanced training. SPCP requires artists to perform a minimum of 100 hours with an trainer before certification. Advanced training includes courses such as Microblading, Areola repigmentation or Microneedling which all take thousands of hours of practice.

Custom Beaute offers permanent eyebrows, lips and eyeliner to Amherst, Buffalo, Tonawanda, Williamsville, Clarence, Grand Island, Niagara Falls and the surrounding Western New York area. Our staff is certified by trainer and master artist Sherry Hale.

Eyebrow Microblading

Microblading is a technique in which multiple needles are used to place the pigment into the skin through tiny (papercut-like) strokes. Microblading is more affordable and has thus become very popular.  At Custom Beaute, we believe microblading can have adverse effects on the skin and the pigment may not heal to the intended color.

When seeking eyebrow microblading in Amherst, Buffalo, Western New York or elsewhere, do your research. It takes years of training to learn how to properly tattoo faces. Custom Beaute employs professionals with experience, licensing, certifications and the latest technology. Instead of using microblades that can create additional trauma to the skin, we use a bladeless technology which allows for precision, control and very little trauma. Sherry Hale is the Goddess of Brows. I can’t tell you how many hours, days, maybe weeks, of my life I’ve used up by having to painstakingly draw on my eyebrows. They always looked bad, and I hated waking up basically “without a face.” Sherry was able to determine exactly the look I wanted–she’s extremely experienced, well educated and beyond that, she’s a true artist. I have hair-stroke brows that actually LOOK like brows! No more time wasted! No more pencils and gels! I am beyond thrilled. And I’m a fan forever.
